Some-times this is all that is necessary, followed by waxing and burnishing.Once the surface can be seen clearly it is possible to make an assessment of its condition. Should the surface be crazed, bleached, worn or stained, some repairs will have to be undertaken to reconstitute it’s surface. Should this be required, methods used to repair the surface will be dealt with later in the module.
