We offer a wide variety of services. We specialise in the restoration and conservation of fine antique furniture, decorative art, traditional water and oil gilding (silver, gold leaf), restoration of antique clocks, antique silverware and candelabrum. We can restore and replace missing intricate marquetry and inlay,  We can also replace missing metal fixtures, fittings and enrichments using lost wax and centrifugal casting. In addition to this we also offer a silver cleaning and polishing service for silverware and antique jewellery. We avoid harsh toxic chemicals, and instead remove tarnish using electrolysis, specifically using the JCR cleaning system.

We also specialise in traditional shellac French polishing. We only using traditional methods and materials, we never spray finish.

Although we don’t normally perform larger furniture upholstery jobs, we are happy to restore the furniture, remove the existing upholstery in preparation for a specialist upholsterer.
